Tuhanji mazal maha keemati manjhand subeh jit sham na raat;
Tuhanji mazal maha keemati sij na chandrh sandhi ka taat. Tuhanji mazal maha keemati bhaahi na dharti ka barsaat; Tuhanji mazal maha keemati dukh nag am jee vaahi vaat. Ahideey laasaaneey laafaaneey manzal jee daye guru khabar; Guru avtar milaay chhin me ghar aahe jo azar amar. |

O' man, highly exalted is your destination, where there is no consideration of the noon, the morning, the evening or the night;
O' man, highly exalted is your destination, where there is no consideration of the sun and the moon or any other element like them. O' man, highly exalted is your destination, where there is no consideration of the fire, the earth or the water; O' man, highly exalted is your destination, where there is no consideration of pain and sorrow and the devastation they cause. Such unique and eternal destination is revealed by the True Master; Avtar says, the True Master takes no time to enable you to find the ultimate abode (God) which is beyond time and death. |
Meaning
This verse describes the beauty of the home for the soul, our real destination. O' man your real destination is the one where there is no moon, morning or night. Where there is no sun, moon or the planets. Where there is no fire, earth or water. Where there is no pain, sorrow or suffering. Here Baba Avtar ji says, the True Master takes no time to show us such a unique and beautiful destination.
